    I like the idea but I feel like the battery needed to store this energy will be heavy and wouldn't a generator cause more resistance when riding around? I know my university has equipment to help power the building but they turn a gear which causes more work than just using the device freely.

      Now that I read more into it, I think the small USB charger is a great idea. I'd be all over that.

      They say that if you want to see the future, you must invent it... well, the future looks awesome (albeit sitting on this bike looks a bit uncomfortable). Thanks for posting the second link. Both the concept and the business model are super awesome.
