Cola-Bow: The statement against plastic pollution

Design collective Penda constructed a public art installation made of over 17,000 recycled plastic bottles attached together to create a ‘wave’ shape inspired by the Coca-Cola logo. The piece consisted of bottles collected by a joint initiative of universities. The initiative gave people a bottle of Coke for every 10 empty bottles that they brought to a designated recycling area. The art work is a statement again plastic pollution and serves as a reminder to recycle plastic waste.
