Catherine Just on Becoming a Photographer

amber kane

I first came across the lovely Catherine Just … well actually I don’t know how I landed on her site. But, I started following her awesome Soul Full Summit. Shortly after discovering her some of my students began asking me about working as a photographer. Great interview Amber. It's helpful to get real-life perspectives about careers and I'm glad you do that for your students. Are your interviews normally inspired by your students?

Thanks @alessandra Rizzotti, glad that you found it helpful. I started doing the interviews to share with my students and their parents. Where I work most people think that you doing anything related to art and creativity for a job can't work, and I want to change that.

However, Usually if I find someone interesting and inspiring myself, I"ll reach out to do an interview with them.
