    This is the sort of thing I did as a child: I used every imaginable item destined for the trash as building blocks for creating my own handmade Barbie house. Toilet paper tubes and deodorant spray can tops were transformed into lamps, and cardboard became all manner of things. I am excited to see children turning from artificial means of entertainment (TV, video games, etc.) to creative imagination as entertainment. It means we are on the path to becoming the geniuses that "babysitting" technology was helping to stifle. These imaginative creations shouldn't stop at the elementary school level, however. Students should be encouraged to create at every level of education and all throughout their lives. The creative mind wins!

    Totally agree with Diana. Even with intentions to support, often times these stories end up exploiting the story only to leave the subject without any support at all. This feels like it has inspired a great deal of action and listening ears to kids' imaginations. I think this is great! To inspire a whole foundation? This kid must feel like he's made a difference, and he's under 10.
