    For the older child an old book: Master Skylark. An easy introduction to Elizabethan period theater - an easy move to Shakespeare.

    This is a great suggestion. In groups, my high school English class had to write, direct, film, edit and screen our take on a scene from a book.

      That sounds incredible. I bet students would roll their eyes a whole lot less if all classic novels were taught this way!
