These are also the underpinnings of an existing workplace that wants employees and the health of the company to strive. It's hard to change existing businesses, but sometimes all it takes it getting the CEO on board. With all the self-help/positive thinking content out there right now, this shouldn't be too hard to do. Perhaps a nonprofit or concerted effort can put this into motion. My dad owns a small company and has been trying to instill positive thinking into his sales team by having them listen to Jack Canfield's "Self-Esteem and Peak Performance" seminar on DVD. Love the philosophy of this post.

*thrive, not strive. ...but strive to thrive also works!
