Books by Bike: Pedal-Powered Libraries Now in Five Cities

Denver set up a bike-powered library last week, following similar libraries in Chicago, Portland, Tucson and Seattle. The mini-libraries bring books to events like farmers markets, and also provide other library services—you can ask the reference librarian riding the bike to research something for you, sign up for a new library card, or, in the case of Denver's bike library, use their mobile hotspot.
