Really cool that you're offering this to filmmakers and foodies. Wondering if you're connecting farmers and foodies to filmmakers? Seems like this is a great opportunity for collaboration between the three. I know a lot of food orgs that would be great for this. Like Ian Wile who runs Little Creek Oyster Farm or the Honeybee Mobile Farmer's Market: Just wondering if that's your demographic and if I should reach out to them?

Yes! That would be great. We are hoping for just such connections to be made. Here is a blurb we've created that you can share. Thanks for posting.

Calling all food-system changemakers and grassroots organizations! Have you ever wanted a powerful short film about the work you're doing? Something you can show community members, allies, and funders, but haven't had the resources to make it happen? Consider partnering with a local filmmaker to submit a film for the new Real Food Media Contest. We're seeking short movies about food, farming, and sustainability--and would love to hear your story. If you'd like help identifying production companies or film students in your community to partner with, contact us through our website. Contest closes February 3, 2014. Prizes include a $5,000 first prize and debut at the Food and Farm Film Fest in San Francisco. See guidelines and get registered for exclusive opportunities at
