Biodegradable, Zero Waste, Coconut Shoes on Kickstarter


I find it inspiring when people turn waste into consumer products. That is precisely what Cocoze, a shoe company, has done, using coconut shell fibre (a typically unused part of the coconut). Cocoze launched a Kickstarter campaign today for their Cocoflop - a sandal made out of coconut fibre soles, with hemp, organic cotton and flax straps. I got the chance to interview Wayne Seto, Managing Partner, about the idea and their campaign.
