I would love to see intersections like this implemented. I love to bike in rural settings, but I actually hate biking in cities because it's just kind of stressful. More dedicated bike lanes would help (when I do bike, I have to have a bike lane, I'm just not comfortable riding on streets without them), and intersections like this would also make me feel quite a bit safer. I like the idea of having just a signal for bikes and pedestrians to go, which could be done in denser areas.

Thanks so much for posting this! I live and work near busy intersections and streets, so safety has been a major factor in my decision to not commute by bike. I do love biking, but I am a novice at best, so the idea of being in moving traffic terrifies me! Having protected bike lanes and intersections would definitely encourage me to bike more!
