Ben & Jerry's Will Stop Using Genetically-Modified Ingredients

Ben & Jerry's is removing a controversial ingredient from its ice cream: GMO. As of now, only 80% of Ben & Jerry's ingredients are sourced non-GMO. By the end of the year, the company aims to completely phase out GM products from its ice cream. GM foods are engineered to resist insecticides and herbicides. As a non-GMO supporter, this is awesome news. Hopefully, more corps will follow in their footsteps. Other countries in Africa and Europe refuse to use GMOs in their food production.
