New York City sponsors (temporary) urban art installations every summer as part of their Summer Streets festival. It would be cool if the art could become a permanent part of the city scape.

Having pieces permanent would be great, or maybe rotated for a limited time, like 1-3 years, would be really cool. That way there'd be a continual fresh offerings of urban art that both locals and tourists can keep coming back to see and enjoy!

Smart. So, the idea would be to have permanent spaces that showcase rotating art. Seems so simple.
