Artists, Children, Paint Murals In Syrian Refugee Camp


120,000 Syrians live in the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan, the second largest refugee camp in the world. Half are under 18. "So many children are bored in Zaatari. They just throw rocks because they have nothing else to do." So a group of artists from across the globe brought brushes and paint buckets to Zaatari to give the children something positive to do.

The result: paintings and murals now adorn the otherwise bleak walls of buildings and structures across the camp.
