Artifacts of the Earliest Flying Club

In the mid 1800s, blue collar, weekend engineer-hobbyist Charles A. A. Dellschau imagined the future of flying over beers with some odd 60 other fellows, calling themselves the Sanoran Aero Club. Or so we think. The only proof that exists today are the aging sketches that documented the meetings in wonderfully illustrated minutes, found by mistake in an attic living in Texas. The story that follows is a winding mystery patching together our known history and Dellschau's reality.
