    With one of the most popular bike-share program/systems on the brink of complete bankruptcy (bixi) I wonder what the future holds for similar systems such as this. I realize that use and need for bike-share differs around the globe, and it might be a bit 'advanced' for many North American cities/communities, but one has to wonder where such systems are headed.

    I do think that this design offers many logical features that could be very valuable if implemented effectively.
