Always Awesome: Museum Unveils New Dinosaur, Ancestor of T. Rex

Add another dinosaur to the family: the Lythronax argestes (LY'-throw-nax ar-GES'-tees). Found four years ago in Utah, the 24 feet long, 8 feet high new species resembles the iconic T.rex and provides evidence that "giant tyrant dinosaurs...were around 10 million years earlier than previously believed." A skeletal model of the dinosaur was put on display for the fist time this month, giving Natural History Museum of Utah visitors their first glimpse of the dinosaur known as the "king of gore."
