A Tactile Comic Book for the Blind

Adele Peters

Though an ordinary book can be written in Braille, how can a blind person enjoy the visual medium of comic books? A Danish design student created this tactile comic—there are no words, just very simple circles depicting each character. Two people are born, grow up, check each other out, fall in love, end up having a baby, and the story of the family's lives continues until the end. It's interesting to think about what the next iteration of a tactile comic might be like.
