A New Study That Shows Rituals Make Our Food More Flavorful

The saying goes: when life gives you lemons, make lemonade--but a new study shows that helping to make the lemonade may actually be beneficial, too. New research out of the University of Minnesota and Harvard shows that ritual "involvement" in your food, whether it's how you eat an oreo (middle first or dunked in milk), scraping wooden chopsticks before eating sushi, or helping to make lemonade, heightens the consumption of each.
