As neighborhoods change over time and waves of people move in and out, it's easy to forget what came before. In Brooklyn, some simple urban interventions remind everyone that history isn't just major events, but the more mundane details of life. The designer is posting official-looking historic notices all over Brooklyn, reminding passerby that a storage unit was one a roller rink, or another street corner once housed a magazine whose readers helped raise money to buy radium for Madame Curie.
