A DIY First: Biohackers Craft Cybernetic Implant to Track Vitals

DIY is a safe field, presumably. Usually the domain of 3D printing nerds, startup fashion designers, or resource-lean entrepeneurs, DIY has increasingly become a legitimate inroad to contend with mainstream industry. But one team in Pittsburgh is taking DIY to someplace improbable: cybernetics. Calling themselves the Grindhouse Wetware, the team is about to unveil a small, implantable biosensor that will "aggregate weeks of data on a person's body temperature" while tucked under the forearm.
