I'm so excited about MTP! I just published my campaign a few days ago. I started a creative writing program called the Weekly Writing Workshop that empowers underprivileged middle school students by working on their grammar and writing style so that they can clearly express their ideas. With funds and this trip, I'm hoping to expand 3W around the country so we can reach even more students!

    Check it out:

Brilliant connections between the cities, coming from a city of new and young developing professional to an older more established political realm.

Really cool idea! Can't wait to see what comes of this. A new way to approach education!

It's this age discrimination? I'm sure there are generation x, y, and z'ers out there who have great ideas as well. Don't make it about the youth, make it about everyone everywhere with an idea.

I agree, this is the one thing missing in this GREAT idea. If we keep separating everyone we will continue to be separate which will not get us all we can have - great point!

Thanks for commenting. 1 out of 5 people on our train -- our distinguished mentors -- are from older generations, as are many of the individuals that have contributed their valuable time, energy, and resources to the project's development over the past year. We would welcome your suggestions on how to best involve other generations as the project grows and invite you to meet us at the station in any of the localities where our train stops. If you would like to be in touch, please feel free to contact us directly at

Thanks Patrick for the response. As an architect I have seen how innovation is deeply rooted in the positive evolution of our society, I have also seen how the youngest generation today has had to struggled to be heard and included within the work force. There is also another issue that I think should be considered in this project which is, for thousands of years knowledge was passed down from elders to the youth and so on and so forth. Now we have a generation that is about to exit the work force in large numbers and then this younger generation that is entering it with no knowledge sharing between the two, or at least very little. Innovation is great but could be enhanced with the passing of knowledge down more consistently. The irony of this project is that you are promoting innovation on a archaic rail way system that should have evolved into a high speed rail long before most countries today. We need to address this areas where we allow innovation to be stifled by industrial controls and capitalistic misguidance. I would love to be apart of the journey or even more deeply connected to this amazing project. Thanks again for all your effort.
