    Do you think this is a ratio you need to keep constant? Consider this: a leader focuses on his/her core competencies; opportunities ensue in the form of related projects; the new focus on projects and new skills disrupt the core competencies; and there is a pivot in leadership skills. Maybe there are times where these percentages need to shift to rediscover your sense of purpose as a leader.

      Tan, you make a really good point. For an article that starts by mentioning flexibility as a key value, it would certainly undermine itself by promoting this as any sort of strict formula.
