The rest of the nation may be being pounded with snowstorms, but the Western U.S. is bone dry. California's entering it's 3rd year of drought, and 2013 was its driest year since 1850. Since the Golden State's the nation's biggest food producer (in terms of dollars of produce) and a breadbasket to the world, global food prices are sure to skyrocket. Just how dry is it?
