Alisha - I love your list of ideas to show love - so simple and do-able. Why is this only for Valentine's Day - how about once a month, or once per week? Seem simple but not so easy to do.
I would just like to add something bigger that happens in the world when we show love towards another person (especially unconditional love, which is also tough to do) we bring the energy of the creator into our world. And when we bring the energy of the creator into our world then the world experiences less pain and suffering.
Imagine if everyone could forgive one person and just love them unconditionally? - our world would change in a big way!

Thanks Sarah! And I totally agree! It was just posted for Valentine's Day, but I agree- for all year round! Much love to you!!

Kindness is a way of living not to be relegated to One day or One Season. :) Let us share our hearts & kindness Every day! HUG! I used to dislike Valentine's Day until Free Hugs found me in 2008. Now every year since I've organized a Worldwide FREE HUGS on February 14th. This year people in 60+ cities in 22 countries joined in. It was Wonderful!

Everyone at the grocery that I go to makes more money than I do. No mention of the homeless, why is that?

I do these sort of things every day. Life is about love and kindness towards others all year long. As a happy individual, I can say that those of us who understand this are much happier than the selfish and greedy who don't even realize that the more they take, the more unhappy they become...they will NEVER have enough...unless they learn that there is more JOY in giving than in receiving!

i am part of a non-profit group called Common Change [www.commonchange.com] where we do these kinds of things on a regular basis - a group of friends who donate money to a common fund and then use that money to meet the needs of people they know - you should check it out - fun and easy way for you as a group of friends to make a difference in the lives of people you know.

A novel piece...And yes, I am going to take back Valentine's Day as well. These suggestions (and others like them) are the ideal way to show you care. And the best thing is they don't cost much!

So true! Love isn't only romantic, it's massively dimensional. More love, more peace. I'm going to take V-Day back as well!
