100Kin10: A networked approach to social impact

We who care about social change are stuck between the old world and the new, between atomistic organizations each pursuing a slice of big, hairy issues and networked behavior that matches the complexity of the problems we face. It's no fun to be stuck - we want to do the network thing but all of our incentives are oriented toward competition. 100Kin10 is a model forward; Talia and team at Carnegie and Opportunity Equation deserve tremendous respect for pursuing it with patience and creativity.
