Yeah! Growing Home is a great organization that provides job training and job placement in Chicago through urban agriculture. What an awesome combination!?! Real Food Challenge focuses on making change on the institutional level, by encouraging schools to sign a commitment to 20% 'Real Food' by 2020 and providing resources to students (the Real Food Calculator) to track their schools' food procurement. Many of the student groups involved with Real Food Challenge have many other real food endeavors that involve farming and food production as well. As a student at Loyola University Chicago, our student group, Growers' Guild, had an urban container garden that was used as a learning space and where we grew and processed our own tea! Growers' Guild also launched a Real Food Challenge Campaign:

I love that you're reaching schools and educating communities- not just growing a sustainable farm. Are there plans to have a place to grow food and make it an education space? I know that Growing Home Inc in Chicago does a great job of creating a learning experience in an urban garden, for people in need of jobs:
