Support free yoga and creativity in schools

Do It

Yoga Foster is preparing for its biggest year yet. This fall, they plan to reach 2,000 students in DC, Pittsburgh and NYC with free, creativity kids yoga in their schools! It costs just $10 per student to provide these programs for a whole year, which includes free teacher trainings for the volunteer instructors. Help them meet their goal by making a donation, sharing the campaign, or joining their crowdfunding team!

I did some morning yoga in Griffith park today, and imagine my surprise when I came down the mountain to discover tour buses setting up for a mass outdoor yoga event called Soulshine:

It's a music and yoga festival that's touring the country. I had never heard of it before today, but I hope they start a trend of offering public yoga together with other big music events. Everyone can use a little yoga before dancing all night, right?

As the founder of Yoga Foster, I've got to see first-hand the value of yoga and creativity for our students. Kids need the space to play during the school day, and yoga is a simple and easy way to integrate it right in the classroom. Yoga Foster makes play easy for kids to do, and grownups to teach in their school or community.
