There's more and more evidence that telomeres are telling us things about our health - both now and in the long-term. Recent research reports that the protective caps on the ends of our chromosomes indicate not only biological age, but risk for diseases ranging from cancers and heart disease to infections like the common cold. There's also mounting good news about more that can be done to protect and maybe lengthen telomeres, but the first step is to start keeping track of ours today.
