My side project is working on a business with my mom. We're trying to help folks rethink the end-of-life experience so that it's not so scary. Death should be something you avoid until you have to deal with it. It should be an exclamation point on your life. We're currently finishing a book and products that you'll be able to find on We really want to help people so that they can have a happy death!

My current side project is brush pen art! I didn't intend to take it on as a hobby rather than just an occasional way to loosen up my creative skills, but after posting my first piece online a friend asked me to design her tattoo--so now I'm working toward the skill level where I'd be comfortable seeing my work inked permanently on the body of someone I love!
