When my kids take naps, I like to go outside and take a nap too. Listening to the trees in the wind makes a nap double relaxing.

Three weeks ago I had the fortunate opportunity to sleep under the stars while spending a week at a remote cabin in Eastern Oregon. Laying on my back with nothing but the beautiful canvas of the galaxy resting above me, I reflected on how blessed I am simply to be here, to be existing. There are very few things in life more enchanting than those stars and planets that decorate our ceiling of life, yet it's still so easy to get wrapped up in what's in front of us that we fail to remember to give a quick glance upwards. Thanks to those who remember.

OMG. This Do reminds me of my childhood days. Growing up in a home with a terrace gave us the space to sleep outside. During our summer breaks my whole family use too get together and all Kids along with parents use to sleep on the terrace everyday. we used to play cards , boards games on our terrace. After 6 or 7PM we use to set our beds on terrace so that our beds would be cool & chilled during sleep time. Waking up early in the morning with sunlight. ahh It was so much fun.

Our family went camping and the experience reminded me that everyone should commit to spending one night — today, tomorrow or next summer — outside and unplugged. As a boy I used to love sleeping outside — at a campsite or in our backyard. This past weekend I introduced this experience to my three-year-old son. When asked what his favorite part was, sleeping the tent with his dad (narrowly) beat out even s'mores.
