Do It

Sleep in a "public" place for one night really experiencing the daily life of a homeless (houseless) person.

Where
Anywhere

This can be dangerous try at your own will but it's meant to show what a houseless (homeless) person has to go through for a night of sleep. Sometimes we may call areas public but you'll have to find out how "public" friendly they really are after trying this one. Some people ask Clothes 2 The Heart why a houseless person cannot get a job and Clothes 2 The Heart feels this "DO" may help people understand more why.

Been there, done that. It's frightening and dangerous, and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Be safe, I will check back.

Exactly, alot of people still are clueless and expect people to just live a normal life under such conditions. Thanks for sharing!

My schools Me to We group did this last year in a Free the Children event last november. We slept in our local park over night to raise awareness about homelessness. Earlier in the day we roamed the streets with signs with facts about homelessness. We worked with a homelessness advisor from the community, in the day we had some people who were homeless ask where they could find help. It was such an eye opening experience.

That's a pretty wild/cool thing of the schools to do. Very educational though at least you know you won't be as judgemental as people who haven't seen the harsh reality of actually living on the streets.

      Thanks for sharing!
