Sign Nobel Peace Prize Petition for 104-yr-old British Schindler

Goody Awards

Help us honor a humble hero, Sir Nicholas Winton, who is 104-yr-old and nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize by signing the petition on Change.org below. This year's Nobel Peace Prize recipients will be announced in October (and you must be alive to accept) so please take action now by signing the petition.

For 50 years, Sir Nicholas Winton, known as “Britain’s Schindler” for saving 669 children in Czechoslovakia during World War II, kept his story a secret until his wife found his notebook with photos of the child survivors in the attic. He has been knighted by Queen Elisabeth 2, and Czech students presented over 213,000 signatures to the Nobel Committee in February.

Accepting our Golden Goody Award via video from England this week, Sir Nicholas Winton shared, “I feel if people lived according to the standard ethics, then most of our problems would be over.” VIDEO http://youtu.be/xJjdgHjjjFY

Please sign the Nobel Peace Prize petition for this inspirational man.

Here's the trailer to Nicky's Family, a documentary about Sir Nicholas Winton that includes interviews with the child survivors and their extended families that now totals almost 6,000 people worldwide. Many are now doing charity projects to give back. Such an inspiration for good! http://youtu.be/PGEXoXkDgqk
