SHIFT::Tech to award $25K to develop mobile app in Armenia

Nora Kayserian

The SHIFT Initiative was started to move Armenia away from the standard narrative that has stalled its fight to get on solid ground since independence. Now is the time to shift the young generation's attention toward the future, where the digital age makes anything and everything possible. We started with culture, inviting anyone who felt so inclined to pitch us their wildest idea for reinventing and refreshing an aspect of the Armenian arts. This fall, we're looking to Armenia's booming IT sector, which takes up a clean, corruption-free 20% of the country's annual GDP.

Pitch us your idea for a mobile application--every idea is fair game--and we'll connect the best one with Social Objects, an app development start-up in Yerevan that will turn your your concept into a software masterpiece. You'll get the chance to work directly with the Social Objects team and collaborate throughout the development process, and we'll inject $25,000 worth of support into it.
