Share Resources for Teaching the True History of the Tulsa Race Riot

Liz Dwyer

High school history books don't teach the true tale of the 1921 Tulsa Race Riots, which killed over 300 African Americans, burned 40 square blocks of 1,265 African American homes, including hospitals, schools, and churches, and destroyed 150 businesses. Share these excellent resources with a teacher you know so that the next generation of students is fully informed about this history.
