Enjoy live music, food tasting from LA's top restaurants and a live art auction.

In 2012 Chain Reaction became the first public art sculpture to be officially deemed a public landmark in Santa Monica, California. It is in immediate jeopardy of being taken down if we don't raise the money to save this monument of peace and nuclear awareness.

The Campaign to Save Chain Reaction, will be holding a large benefit and consciousness-raising event on Sunday, August 18, 2013. We are inviting artists from around the world to contribute a unique piece (in any medium) that is inspired by (or is a rendition of) Paul Conrad’s sculpture. The pieces will be auctioned off, with 100% of the hammer going to the effort to save Chain Reaction. Any monies raised that exceed the cost of immediate restoration will be put into a fund for the ongoing preservation of Chain Reaction so that future generations will enjoy and be inspired by it.
