Photographer Angelo Merendino opens his heart in a series that chronicles his wife's battle with cancer. The intimacy and humanity of the photographs is a reminder of the side of the story that facts and figures about disease and loss don't convey. In sharing his wife's journey and loss, he started - his way of helping others during their cancer journeys.
