Remember the last time you sat down and played a game with some friends? We sure don't. Play helps us build relationships, forces us to exercise our body and mind, and makes us think creatively. So this August we're taking time to reimagine how we can play in our living rooms and in our cities—and we're inviting the whole GOOD Chicago community to come out and play together.
Join GOOD Chicago for a night packed with play. From brain activities to modular furniture, we will learn how play can be incorporated in everything from the games you remember from childhood to learning about play in urban design. A presentation by Iker Gil of MAS Studio about their ‘Cut. Join. Play.’ project will explain play in our urban spaces and a group game session will invite our fellow Chicagoans to unplug, engage and get social through play. The evening will be a look at how we can inject some fun into our community with a nod to the classic game night.
