Raise awareness for Male Breast Cancer for MALE BREAST CANCER AWARENESS WEEK

Nick Sadler

October 21, 2013at 12:00 pm

Two of my friends have breast cancer. They are men. One of them is Stage 4 terminal. The doctor's caught his cancer late because he didn't know men could get breast cancer. I am making a documentary about their struggles and mission. Next week is MALE BREAST CANCER AWARENESS WEEK. Take a moment and let you friends, your sons, your brothers, your fathers know that men get breast cancer too.

Thanks for posting. My grandfather died from male breast cancer, and he was very healthy. It's important that more men know about this.

Alessandra, I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather's passing. We are doing what we can to let people know and to take action. Thanks for helping spread the word.

Nick, thank you so much for posting this. It's a topic that's not discussed very often and there's definitely a need for awareness. As the video stated, thousands of men will go undiagnosed because many don't know they can get breast cancer. I'm looking forward to your documentary, when do you think you'll have it out by?

Thanks Jackie. I really appreciate that. We are hoping to release next year. We are currently filming and running a crowd sourcing campaign to help our costs. (We're working out of pocket and there is so much to this story to tell) You can learn more about our project at
