Provide soft snuggle blankets for the homeless instead of the harsh wool ones that are scratchy & harsh.

We work with New York City Relief a non-profit that has been helping the homeless get off the streets and get the help they need for 23 years. We have 2 relief buses that go to the worst areas of NYC 11 times a week to meet the people with the most need right where they live, in the street. A HUGE need is in the biter cold winter to have blankets as some of our friends on the street have actually frozen to death. When it is not below freezing, it is still a need to have a blanket as that covering is like a home to them at night. The blankets that have always been donated are wool scratchy ones, warm? well not super warm as they are very thin and just like cardboard really. I tuck my children in each night with these new super soft extra snuggle blankets and wish that we could give the children and families that are homeless in the shelter system & in the streets this same kind of gentle, loving comfort. The homeless are somebodies child, and I want to wrap them in love.

Would like to edit the sentence at the top to : Provide soft blankets to wrap around the homeless so they feel cared for. Tag the blankets: Somebody's Child.
