Each of us comes into contact with textiles during 99% of our lifetime. From our clothes to our heart valves, and everything in between, we depend on the apparel and textiles industry for the protection, comfort and utility it provides. This global industry has significant environmental, social and economic impacts that must be addressed sooner rather than later!
So let’s expand the dialogue among boutique owners, designers, suppliers, and customers interested in transforming the current fashion and textile industry into an ecologically conscious and ethical one. Now is the time for our domestic apparel and textiles industry to come together and advance toward a more environmentally sustainable platform.
Join me in jump-starting this dialogue for change through an inaugural conference bringing together designers, students, boutique owners, suppliers, producers and customers - Redress Eco-Fashion & Textiles Conference.
