Partner with John Muir Middle School in Los Angeles to Counter Stereotypes of the Mayan Culture

On Thursday, December 13, 2012, John Muir Middle School, a Los Angeles Unified school located in south Los Angeles, will host a Mayan Calendar 2012 Symposium for its students.

Help Muir Middle School to combat the simplification and stereotyping of the diverse and complex culture of the Maya, counter junk science, and bridge the divide between K-12 learning and Postsecondary Academia by making a donation, book donations, art supplies, bracelets that say "never fear, education is here", etc.
