- Anywhere you choose to start your day
The morning coffee session today is from one of my favorite authors, Elizabeth Gilbert. She talks about your elusive creative genius, and the possibility that one's creativity and 'genius' is not always internally drawn, but rather sometimes externally given -and how this allows for a release of constant pressure to perform and produce excellence. As she sees it, do your part, that 'job' you know you are called to. If you are afforded the opportunity to be great, take it and appreciate it. But also see it for what it is, in terms of not being something fixed, certain or assumed. And if, at times, your work is not 'genius', then "Olay to you nonetheless for having the sheer human love and stubbornness just to show up. And continue to show up and do your job".
