Day 28: Today I'd like to ask you to help me with a very simple microvolunteering task. Sophia's father Kent and I grew up on the same street, and though many years have passed, I've appreciated seeing his updates on his little girl, who is clearly very special. "You would have no idea she has cerebral palsy, unless you watched her try and walk," Kent tells me. "We had no idea what we would be getting into, and we give her all the love the two of us can give, but any help would be greatly appreciated." Specifically, Kent and his wife want to start a community where other people who have a child with CP do not feel alone, "because the first year was crazy for us," he says. "We now know there are a few services that can help anyone, but we didn't know about most of those for a long time." And that's where you come in: will you like "Sophia's Journey" and share it with your friends? "If we could help other people, while helping our dear Sophia, that would be the best case scenario."
