"It always shocks me when people don’t really know how to make anything. Or haven’t ever tried. It’s something we’ve all done as kids – drawings, crafts, etc. – but somehow a very large number of professional workers find themselves in a state where they only know how to repackage other peoples’ work rather than doing anything themselves. Weird." --Andrew Chen

I am learning to cook. I recently made lavender lemon ricotta pancakes. But I really like this shot of my roasted apple potatoes and really ugly awkward attempt to make a potted shell cup (the donut sculpture is not mine). Haha.

Whoa! How do you make your own Tiffany-style lamps? That sounds amazing. Do you have photos?

Definitely post them here! Actually, you could post them as a slideshow on a new "DO" post -- then you could include some tips on making them, too! I would love to try. I did stained glass in high school but never went anywhere with the skill.

I made a bow last weekend from an oak branch, and will be making arrows this weekend.
