Documentaries are amazing because they deal with real people and real stories that deserve to be seen and talked about. No matter how much our societies change, stories remain fundamental to the human experience. They’re what our lives are made of. They’re what we leave behind. Great idea to watch them together and then discuss and perhaps Motivate to also take Action!

Media + entertainment seeps into your very pores... Why not make it a positive + motivating experience... A place+ time where new creative ideas and solutions to old problems can spark and thrive... Let's eliminate violent thinking and acting from the scenes that dominate our down time ...

I love watching (good) documentaries. It's a great way to deepen our understanding of issues we care about, as well as to start conversations and raise awareness.

For me, it's also a great way to find and learn about an issue that I didn't know anything about. Sometimes I just want to learn a bit about a topic and it'll be that. I'll think about it, and have it on the back of my mind. Sometimes the topic really resonates with me and I start thinking a lot about it and maybe even start getting involved more. In this way, good documentaries can be a bit like good books.
