The most important thing I've learned from my fabulous connector friends is to make introductions. When your friends are friends, it's better. http://eladelson.com/post/55290971970/first-world-problem-of-the-month-too-much-social-not

the best is when your friends start hanging out with your other friends without you involved.

I love it. It reminds me of this other "do" on Good kind of: http://www.good.is/posts/hold-a-micromeet-where-people-can-meet-others-in-their-neighborhood
The issue of being having a myriad of online 'connections' but not having genuine, personal connections with people around us is something that's been on my mind a lot. I love this 'do' because it's so simple, but a big step in us expanding our network and being mindful of connecting with people on a real level. I was thinking of throwing a party where the point was to mingle with others and meet new people- instead of always hanging out with your circle of friends you feel comfortable with.

I throw game nights or go to friends for gaming. We play different board games. I really recently brought a friend and it was great to introduce him to some new people. I've felt so much gratitude towards others who have invited me to social events or professional mixers.
