Help Restore Photos Damaged in the Oklahoma Tornado

Adele Peters

Whether you're a professional graphic designer who edits photos of runway models, or just someone who happens to be obsessed with Photoshop, put your skills to use for the greater good: Volunteer to help restore family photos that were damaged in the devastating tornado in Moore, Oklahoma and other recent disasters. Add your name and contact information in the comments below. (If you don't want to list your email, just put your name in the comments, and then email me directly at adele at goodinc dot com). We'll gather a list and connect you with an organization working directly with disaster victims.

The process of cleaning up in Oklahoma will take time, so it will be a while before the photos are gathered and ready for volunteers (some have estimated there may be 150,000 pictures out there). The National Disaster Photo Rescue will be collecting photos, and we will be saving all of your information and connecting you with Operation Photo Rescue when they're ready for help. Thanks!
