1 large tree can provide a supply of oxygen for 2 people. while a healthy tree stores 13 pounds of carbon per year it also absorbs 48 to create oxygen and simple sugars.
2500 trees would absorb nearly 120,000 pounds of carbon per year and produce cleaner air for 5000 future college students from the day they are planted to the day the last seed drops.
Contribute to Promises for Education and your donation goes directly to student scholarships and is matched by myself (Ronnie Das) planting 2500 trees so we can all do good and help the environment, community and education.
