Head of U.S. Catholic Church Calls DOMA Ruling 'Tragic Day' - Let's Tell Him How Wrong He Is

Cardinal Timothy Dolan today called the Supreme Court's historic ruling to strike down DOMA "a profound injustice" and a "tragic day for marriage." Oddly, he and the rest of the Catholic leadership is out of step with the opinion of its own congregation. Recent polling shows that most Catholics support same sex marriage—in higher percentages than the general population even.

Follow the link below to tell the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops that their doctrine on same-sex marriage is anachronistic and bigoted. It's an opportune time to flood them with messages in support of equality as they are currently celebrating their "Fortnight of Freedom," a two-week period of action around what they refer to as "challenges to religious liberty."
