Have dinner with strangers.

Kristine Lo

This past Wednesday, I was invited to a dinner hosted by Willow & Niche- a dinner company. I've visited Kara's loft before I even met her and fell in love. Her downtown Los Angeles loft is the epitome of Pinterest room envy. Think reclaimed furniture, mason jars, handmade fixtures and lace. But the best part about her beautiful space is that she hosts bi-monthly dinners called "Whiskey Wednesdays."

The idea is simple, use food as a means of bringing community together. She prepares a meal for a dozen to twenty friends, acquaintances and complete strangers. Whiskey is served throughout the night and delicious food is served family-style. To break the ice, opening questions are answered by each guest. It was such a great experience to meet so many different people with creative/driven/passionate souls with similar stories. I had such a pleasant experience from start to finish and even met a fellow GOOD community member. Definitely recommend to everyone!

Kristine - I couldn't agree more that it was so great to meet a fellow creative/foodie/GOOD Community Member at "Whiskey Wednesday." I heard about the dinner through EatWith ( and I'm so happy that there's an online food community that encourages true offline connections.

There's something very special about stepping out of your comfort zone that truly creates unique experiences. And having dinner with strangers is one of my favorite things to do. Cheers to you and here's to hopefully more dinners in our future! #YOLO
